For those that haven't been keeping up with the boards, I've been having a lot of problems with my car not because of Toyota but people's mistakes including myself. Here's a run down:
Incident #1: a boy was playing football when he ran into the Celica. Rear bumper, spoiler and back glass was replace by the insurance company. I was inside the house getting ready to take a nap before work when this happened. http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid28/pc68cddc33b41a8045a43a5c233fa7dc7/fd652751.jpg
Incident #2: a F150 backed into the front end near the Toyota sign. I was in the library studying when this happened. The guy came and told me so I wasn't mad. His insurance paid me for the damages.

Incident #3: I was trying to merge into traffic when I woman sideswipes me. I was signaling to get in but guess she didn't want me in that lane. It's my fault b/c you're supposed to yield. Her car suffered no damages besides a little dirt here and here which I licked off as we were looking at the car.:headbang: She was driving a rental Corolla cause her Avalon was in the shop. My car had what looks to be two door dings near the fuel door and a little ripple near the door handle. She wanted to file a police report anyways cause she said "I just want this on record."
Incident #4: this happened right after class Fri.. There's a four lane road, and I'm making a left hand turn. I watch to make sure everything was clear ,jamming to Eminem, pulled out and hit a Cavalier on the rear passenger side wheel. It was bent inward like it had a lot of negative camber and the panel next to it was dented. My front end cracked in two, the underbody plastics got ripped up and my hood is slightly pushed in. As I was in the car, I was thinking this did not just happen. I felt so bad I couldn't even tell you. I was so depressed thinking, what a bad driver I was. It's a good thing I got some of you guys to talk to like Chiggy, Daks, and Twincelicagirl. At work, there's a really cool nurse that I talked to and she made everything feel good again. I'm so fortunate to have such great people around.
I've found a body shop in Memphis that some of the locals recommended. When I was at the shop, they had a old Camaro that looks like it's in the same era as the Charger in the FnF. They were restoring it. I talked to the owner and he was very knowledgeable. I told him I had a Kaminari bumper and he knew right about what Kaminari was.
I'm know you guys think I'm the worst driver ever, but I've been driving since I was 16 ( I'm 20 now) and never got into any accidents. I've had the Celica for 2.5 yrs w/o a problem except for the occasional ticket. When it rains, it pours right?
I called the lady from the third incident yesterday. She has returned the Corolla and is in her Avalon. Get this, she said she's having headaches.
She: "lawyers have been calling and I haven't seen a doctor yet."
Me: "are you having migraines?"
She:" what's a migraine"
We talk for few more minutes and I'm like "well hope you get well soon, I'm going back to study for my test now, you've got my number right?" She like yeah. I said,"well just give me a call if anything goes wrong, bye." She sounded shocked that I didn't care and just blew her off.
Anyone with common sense can see she's lying to get money. First she doesn't know what a migraine headache is and secondly when we had the accident she was dress in a heaving jacket like the ones that the Fedex employees wear when they work in the "hub." The "hub" is the place where people unload the trucks, it gets hot as crap in the summer and cold as h*ll in the winter. These signs suggest that's she's not an educated woman. Well she was in the rental Corolla which didn't have a dent. Anyone that has rented a car before knows they check the cars before you turn it back in. It got turned in without a hitch. So she's having headaches but the impact wasn't even enough to dent the metal on a '01 Corolla? Not possible, unless she's having stress two weeks after the accident. We all know new cars will dent if you push it even with a fist.
Here's my car in it's present state:

In two weeks, I'm bringing it to the bodyshop to get my everything painted including my skirts and TRD rear valence. She's been just like new soon.
