Ok on my way to the mall yesterday to do a little christmas shopping i saw a VERY nice looking crx. I wish i had my camera with me as it look sweet. Bright white with 17 inch white rims and a very nice looking body kit. I see allot of nice cars here in south florida but not many CRx's. Well like usual i was running late so i was speeding a bit down university drive. It was around 4pm and 3 lanes each direction. I passed him not planning to race at around 65mph i guess and im just listening to the radio and then the stupid light turns red so i stop. a few seconds later he pulls upto the light also. Now im not the best person tostart a raceeand i normall wait for the other person to take off before i do. Well the light turned green and i started to go and so did he. I had a feeling he was going to punch it so i kept it in first gear. woooom!..i hear his exhaust and the intake of his as it gasp's for air. Boom! i floor it also, i switch into 2nd and we are neck and neck. As my Gt is getting higher and higher in RPM's i notice him start to fall behind. 7k RPM's came so quickly and BOOM! im in 3rd.....by now he's a good 1 car behind and i was not able to make it to 4th and its the middle of the day and there was traffic not to far ahead. I shuut down at around 75mph and was leading with a 1.3 car lead. Im not sure what mods he had done but from a glancec i could tell he had atleast the standard mods.....intake..exhaust...etc...i turned into the mall and he beeped to signal a good race...i love it when people do that.....i hope to see him again and have a little more fun and i definately need to work on my launch technique.
