ahh!...the all important gt vs gts....now i know what u are all thinking.....but here is how it went. I was getting off the highway and heading towards I95 and its 4 lanes each way (big road) and i see a celica infront of me 2 lanes over. I was not able to tell if it was a GT or GTS as the markings on the back had been removed. Well it was a blue celica with a ARM sticker int he rear side window. I had 2 people in the car with me and i was like...ahh...what the hell!. THe light turns green and we GO!....it was an AUTOMATIC....hahah...well anyways i go all the way through first and he was around .2 car's ahead when i goto shift into 2nd. I MISSED THE GEAR.......F@@@!!!...i shifted 2 quickly and my foot came off the clutch before it was in gear. There was no way to recover from that mistake but i still floored it anyways to see how much he would pull on my and try to figure out what model celica it was. If it was a GTS i think i could of beat it if i had not missed shifted and definately won if it was a GT. I need to race 1 again to be able to say but he also was not shifting the auto like he should when racing he simply floored it and went. Well needless to say it was still a rush ...especially when you are waiting for that light to turn green and you get that strange feeling in the pit of your stomach and your leg gets all lgith and stuff. The guy went south on I95 and i had 2 go north so i didn't get another chance but there are alloy of celica in this area so im sure we will meet again and hopefully buy then the GT turbo will be available and i will have it installed in the car. either way i enjoyed myself as i always do when i race but my next mod will be the B@M short shifter for sure.
