is there anymore wear on the tranny by using either sportshift or auto one more than the other??? thanks.

I don't think it'll wear any worse from sportshifting.

not directly no, but sportshift does not drop fuel pressure during shifts. and the most wear on the auto tranny is done when shifting. if you're stock or with bolt-ons that's no problem, but if you have a power adder like nitrous that would otherwise not spray during shifts in auto mode (fuel pressure switch would cut if off) but will spray during shifts in sportshift mode...then the sportshift mode would put more wear on the tranny.
but you only shift every once in a blue moon with the sportshift anyway :D get an ATF cooler and call it a day.

thanks bro - i was canyon carving and usuaslly left it in 2nd gear (3rd in 6spd's) figured it was less wear on the tranny...mad engine brakin though.

that kinda thing is fine. engine braking does wear on the transmission. but if you're gonna run your car hard, you will put stress on it. makes sense, no? :D
