question about carbon fiber

I'm gonna be buying a CF hood from someone, but it has a crack on the corner from shipping, and was wondering if this would cause any problems regarding structual rigidity.

Help ASAP would be greatly appreciated.

... just as long as you keep it from spreading... and make sure water doesnt get under the clear coat, or it will look like butt...

yeah? what's your point? I'm not into the whole "look at me, I have CF thing"


so... hmm.. that's reassuring that it shouldn't affect the rest of the hood... I guess I'll get a close look tomorrow morning

uhm.. cf has a clear coat on it so it can be painted just as anything else would be painted..
