Wiper Blades

Just picked up a set of new Teflon winter wiper blades. I took a quick look at them today but it was cold and I didn't want to freeze my fingers anymore. Well anyways I don't see how the existing wipers can be removed. It looks like there is a double ended pin that runs through the stock blades. Has anyone changed their wipers and was it an easy process?
