What good are 5.6 lcd screens?


I plan on installing one on my center console. I'm not sure which one is the direct fit whether its 5" or 5.6".

Blue Bomber would know since he had one previously installed on his console.

I purchased a 5.6 so hopefully thats a perfect fit into the center console.

I was jus wylin away some time talkin to a fiberglass maker and he was talking about how it might not be a bad idea to install the lcd by the lid.. but then have some sort of velcro so the lid can be replace on top of the console. Some sort of protection device. Since the lid will only be replaced when I'm not in the car, it doesnt seem like a bad idea. I'm still talkin to the guy. If anything I'll have him just do a little cutting and velcro tagging. 5.6 is not that big so it should go quite smoothly.

I meant "BRAND" for the LCD

I can only spend $150-300 for an lcd. I saw the MA lcd but the quality aint good. Give me more options.
