Who cares? It's still a hyundai. No matter how much you fix up a turd, it's still a turd regardless.
But yea it does piss me off
What are you talking about? Don't we have a turbo from XS Engineering for the GTS? if its actually for the GT then nevermind what I said.

lol the tib may get the GTS in 2nd gear with high boost, but at 3rd gear, the tib collapses under the weight of the roof.... but then again.... it all depends on the driver:rolleyes:
but still.....who's gonna take a tib seriously? its pretty sad but true...
no one flame me :shocked

I wouldn't care if I got beat by a turbo Tiburon. It's still a piece of junk.
not to defend the tib's in any way, but to see all the performance parts available for such a car and barely anything for us-doesn't it make you ill ?

I went to the makes of that kit's site. Claimed to push wheel hp to 223 with the Kit. Not bad in my opinion

Haven't you guys seen the 10 second Hyundai Accent from Puerto Rico?

The "lack of aftermarket support" didn't stop SCC from building a turbo Maxrix. I can't stand people who CONTINUE to beat this dead horse.

Just out of curiostity, what exactly makes a Tiburon a piece of crap? It's easy to point at a car and call it crap and feel superior to it. It's OK to have opinions about cars, I know I do, but it would be nice to hear some actual thought behind it.

From what I heard, the styling is Italian, by Pinafarnia (as the first GS300/Aristo was Giugaro styled, Italian of course), which does have a remarkable resemblance to the Ferrari 456GT.
Guts, 2.7L V6 shared with the Sante Fe, close to 200 bhp, mated to a 6-speed manual or 4-speed auto. 140bhp 2.0L mated to 5-speed or 4-speed auto.

The new Tib does look nice, but I know some people that have had extremely bad experiences with Hyundais. It comes with a 10 year warranty for a reason.

People seem to "not count" the XS turbo kit because of its price, like its a prototype price tag or something. I think that I am the only person who finds XS engeneering's $6000 price tag reasonable. I mean, it comes with everything and it's installed. Its really not much more than buying every thing you would need and having it installed.
The only reason I don't have it on my car is that they insist that they install it. Which is fine, so long as you live in California. I live in Michigan, so that pretty much rules me out as a potential customer. Why XS engeneering wants to limit its potental customers, I do not know.

Big deal. We have more available for our cars than the Tib's got. There isn't a huge market for those cars. The Tib's been on the market for how many years now??? So what if it's got a turbo kit. It should by now.
It's not extremely difficult to make a kit for any car, Other than fuel delivery and tuning. Designing a manifold isn't hard at all. Picking out a turbo and intercooler is easy. Intercooler plumbing can be done in a day. Getting the fuel delivery and tuning down is the biggest pain and takes the longest. Especially with our cars not having a conventional fuel system. That really slows it down and makes it more difficult.
I would be willing to bet the RSX turbo kits weren't even 100% functional. I have seen that many times.
As far as the people still complaining we still don't have anything for our cars please buy a Civic. There is plenty of stuff for our cars.
