Raced a suburu

It was most likely a NA.... I was on the way to take my g.f home and the road I was on has a off-ramp. Anyway, I see this suburu fly onto the road as we're comin to the light it turns red. So, I look over and this guy is sittin there with a smile on his face. So, I'm thinkin to myself uh huh... ok dood... keep smiling.. so, I timed it just right so that the light turned green and i was off.. He hear's my exhaust get louder and he steps on it....as of then I start to hit lift and pull on him.. I'm at 80 and decided to slow down. He wasn't smiling anymore.. BTW, I slapped it into manual (i have the sport-tragic)....Just thought I'd share my lil instance...

Must of been i didnt hear a SWOOSH sound or anything.....He would of blown by me if he stepped on it I have a auto...Even though the auto would kill a WRX ;) LoL *sarcasim*

it must have been an auto too, or he just can't drive.
no matter what, he should have had you on the launch. AWD vs. automatic FWD.
was it the old or new body style?
anyways, i had an auto GT-S and i know for sure a 5-speed 2.5 RS would have beaten me easily. good kill nonetheless :)
