I have the Hyper Industries hyper white bulbs and they suck. The color is nice but you can only see about 5 feet in front of the car. From what I have heard the Philips super white and the blue ones are pretty good quality. Don't go for the cheapie bulbs on ebay they are garbage. :)

Nope.. just because it's PIAA.. it doesn't mean it's worth it..
It's expensive.... tend to laster longer.. but they do burn out..
Friend of mine had it for 2 moths and it burnt out....
It was from Japan..... but it ain't worth the money for my opinion..
I have those cheap bulbs... that lasts longer and brighter...
I rate buy the cheap bulbs that lasts OK... and just replace em..

I have Philips Blue Vision, and haven't seen a loss of visibility over the stock bulbs. They're white with blue around the edges of the beam.

I have looked into this subject more than once, and after searching around and talking to all kinds of car people seems to me the best bulb for the money is Philips blue vision... Just my .02, but I think alot of people may agree.
BTW mine are in the mail on the way to me!

I got my high/lows from Eurolite and personally l love 'em!!! They are so bright l get flashed ALL the time by people that think l got my high beams on. Even though l wanted the purest white, these have only a hint of blue. And l paid $45/ pr.

I've had my PIAA x-treme white's for a year now and I have had no problems whatsoever. IMO the visibility is significantly better then stock (nothing compared to HID's tho) and they have a white/blue light that looks pretty good - especially from other drivers. They WERE $85 tho - and that's a lot for just bulbs.

dont buy anything with a blue tint to them...the blue filter reduces light output by 70%!!!

john, i've got the philips bluevisions in my lows and fogs right now and they're pretty nice. they look a little whiter from the outside with a hint of blue, and you can actually see from inside the car pretty well too (and they're fairly affordable).
mark, barry, and rox have had the piaa's and they've all burnt out within 6 or so months and the vision from inside the car sucks.
i've also had the hiper industries bulbs that look nice on the outside but don't give you any visibility. oh, and i had the sylvania cool blues which looked completely stock (that's all i could find in a rush one day when my hiper's burnt out).
next time you're around remind me and anyone else to show you our bulbs and that might help with the choice.

APC is crap. Hiper Industries looks decent but the output isnt that impressive, infact it shoots really high for low beams like when I drive on freeway the lights hit the overhead directions boards... but they are well worth the price. I havent had any problems with my bulbs except with cops that believe they are blue when they are WHITE!

Too short of a lifespan (less than half of stock), with a 0% increase in brightness over stock.
