What wire to tap for power?? So many wires, so many COLORS.. which one?!?!!

needs to have power all the time.. or most of the time.. like dome? or parking light? or something better??

What exactly are you trying to hook up? It would make it easier to answer your question if we have a little more info. ;)

and if it helps.. 12v switchable power is the red wire coming off the back of the cigarettel lighter..

it was for a chirp aka booty call with switch so i can chrip around with my friends.. :]

hey im hooking up cheap $20 foglights to my sister's civic. would it be safe to tap into the cigarette lighter stuff instead of going all the way directly to the battery? there is a fuse on the wire so its all good. also the wire is short and the cigarette place would be easier. or would it blow up?
