Hood scoop functionality?

Hey, I've seen a few posts on group buys and pics of the scoops, but... well does anyone make an induction kit that fits up to behind the scoop?
Wouldn't it be best to have the air coming in from here instead of down low where it could possibly get wet etc?

Is it a good idea and no ones done it yet? Fill me in if you know, cause I know I don't ;p

If you're talking about using it for a ram air it won't work. There's not enough room under the hood. Unless you make a hood similar to what a Cobra R has.

From my understanding the scoop is to cool the firewall.. So, to block it would be a bad thing. I maybe wrong but just something I'd share...
