so cal celicas

With as many celicas as i see in san diego, why is there no post in here. I know the Unison board is out there for so cal but i watch it also and they dont get that many post from san diego. I know there are alot of celicas down here (most of which GT's who try and race me on the freeways) so why does this forum not get any replies or new post for our area?

Takeoff has tried a few times to gather the celica enthusiust from san diego and it seems only a few care to gather. whats up with that? if there are san diego pepes out there post here so we can see who the san diego celica community is. thanks for your time.

I'm from Chula Vista- there are about 3 other modded Celica's in this area. I know SilverNico is from Imperial Beach.

there are a lot of celis in so cal but i think a lot of them are driven by snobs. when i try to make eye contact, they act like they didnt notice u. they act like, ya, i got a celi. i'm better than u. the only cool celi owners i've met are the ones from the boards.

but i dont know why nobody posts from this region.

I can only guess that most people don't have the time for their cars. I have tried so many times to hold meets for celi owners but I haven't had that great a response. A few have responded but I only get about 2-3 people show up. The people that do show up are cool.

I would love to meet other celica owners But I'm scared I just wouldn't fit in. I'm a girl that doesn't know that much about my car. Maybe you would consider me a snobby girl that just bought her car cause it looks nice. But I don't think I'm snobby. I'm just enjoying my ride.

Thats what meets are for so you can learn and pass on info about the celica and to meet people. if you meet someone you think is a snob well then you just dont meet up with them again thats all. watch the boards Unison has alot of meets but they are up north. a few of us try to get together here in SD once in a while. you should go to a meet you will see everyone is pretty cool. and you can learn alot from tjust talking to people. later

It would be cool for anyone to show up at meets whether you don't know much or if you are a guy or girl. These meets are to meet other people and have a good time talking and maybe racing. If you never come to meet you might never learn that much about your car and what you can do with it. A lot of other people can show you what they have done and maybe help you make a informed decision on what you might want to do.

if u are enthusiastic about ur car, willing to meet other owners, open to learning more things about ur car by being on the boards and talking to people, then u are hardly a snob
