Now my question is are they safe to use?? I know that are stock bulbs are 55 watts a piece and the new Eurolites I got say 100watts on the back but where I bought them they told me this was just the added up wattage of both bulbs inside!! Like he was saying basically that means both bulbs are 50 watts a piece!! Sounded kinda weird to me please advise are these safe to use or no??? Thanks!!

100 watts sounds a bit high, but i think some people has used them before without any problems...I dont think the person u brought em off of is right. its kinda stupid if they add the watts together. I think it means that the bulbs are 100 watts each.

Thats what I was thinking that this guy is crazy and I am no electrical wiz so I am a little lost here....!! I always just get bulbs that match the wattage of the regular ones but it seems that if you get any kind of xenon filled, hyper white, or blue colored aftermarket bulb then none of them make any withou a higher wattage rating than the stock bulbs!! At least I hadn't found any aftermarket ones that were rated at 55 for the H7's, in fact the lowest I have seen is 80 for the H7 replacement!! Weird somebody please advise before I fry something LOL!! I paid like $50 in lights today so I would like to get my money's worth!!

If you're gonna use them, check out the white harness that plugs into the back of the lights. Check out what condition they're in. Then in a month, check to see how they look. If the lights are too powerful, the harness will probably look a bit melted. That's a good inication that you need to get rid of them. ;) Honestly, I wouldn't even mess with them.

BTW, the 100W on the package means the power required for each individual bulb. The guy you were talking to is an idiot. :thumbdown

So should I take these things back or try them for awhile and see?? Safe or no safe?? The acura boys seem to think they will be fine for they use a lot of these in their RSX's and Integras and supposedly have only seen 1 out of 100 burn or melt the connector!! I dunno I am lost on whether or not I should try them or not!!

For all that want to know Eurolites are awesome in performance and looks, especially for the money however to ease the confusion over the lights if you buy any of Toucan Industries lights for your car make sure you get the exact replacement wattage wise that is supposed to go on your car!! For our low beams theymake two different ones one pair uses 100 watts for each bulb these are model number H7HXC, for Celica users do not get these we need model #H7LXC which only uses 55 watts for each bulb!! So I kinda answered my own question after a lot of reading but hey now I guess I am the Toucan Sam light expert!! LMAO that was gay huh!!! Anyway for you guys that want to know there u go!!

Sell em on eBay. Why take a chance at melting stuff that costs at least $100 to replace?

BTW, almost forgot, you also run the risk of melting your headlight housings, which are mucho $$$ to replace.
