hey, i juss got my injen cai recently and decided to run my bro again with a base prelude w/ cai and cat back. i would take him off the launches and around 3rd - 4th he would start pulling past me and in the end my front bumper was at his back bumper at around 90-100 mph...remember i have 02 with the rev limiter..so iono how im doin...i kinda stay in lift(hit 6000 exactly but dont hear the lift till like 6100)...preludes have some good top end!

Is the a chip or sumpin that raises that limiter?

i was filming the LC vs GTS videos (the GTS drivers were from this board) and it was my observation that the Prelude would lead off the line then the GTS's would start to creep up top of 3rd gear, but shift to 4th gear and the Prelude would start to pull again.

Eitherway, I think that both cars r very closely matched and often come down to the driver. Good story, it is good to hear someone man enough to admit defeat.

yeah its a damn shame they cut you off at 7700.. all the power to be made is above that.. damned toyota..

send that back up to 8500 rpms

hehe yea...i think changing the rev limiter would be the best mod for 02 gts...hey SR20DET...matt? heard ur car is crazy fast now =)

which is more worth it getting a 2000 gts ecu or..........waiting for an upgrade ecu?

2000-01 GtS ECU doesnt work with 02 Celica..

in another post someone said they tried it and it didnt work.. the connectors didnt line up and something about an extra knock sensor on the 02 models..
