What will this do??? Will it melt the conectors or anything?? I bought these Eurolite bulbs for like $30 the H7's and I didn't notice that they were 100 watts till I got home and our stock replacements are 55 watts so I called the guy up and asked him if he had the 55 watt version cause I called Toucan Industries and they do make a 55 watt version but the guy I bought the lights from said all he had was 100 watt bulbs!! Well guess what he won't take them back either without charging me $10 restocking fee isn't that a joke! So I am at a loss now it looks like I waisted my money on these things unless I can use the 100 watt bulbs. Would it be safe to use these 100 watt bulbs or should I not risk it?? Please advise? Is anybody else running this high of watt bulbs on their low beams??? If so how long?? Any problems?? I wouldn't be worried about it if they didn't run all the time but sine the DRL crap is on all the time I am worried!! I could cut it off but I don't like cutting up a lot of wires on my car or even one wire!! Somebody please advise here! Thanks!!

Well, those cheapass bulbs fried the piss outta the plastic connector peice. So we had to jerry rig a connectoin directly from the wires to a new bulb.
I would post pictures but the plastic peice literally crumbled in my hand and fell to the floor when we took it out.
I will never ever buy those cheap blue bulbs ever again .

Over time, the excess heat will damage the harness and discolor (yellow) the lens and housing. An expensive gamble to save a $10 re-stocking fee.

Everyone I talked to had the connectors melt on them after a bit and had to replace them.

I've had an 80W hyper white bulb in since July 2000, and it hasn't cause any damage whatsoever. Only bad part is after 2 years the whiteness faded a bit. I wouldn't go higher wattage than that though...

I was running about a 70W hyperwhite/plasma bulb for about 6 months. Nothing went wrong, but was fed up with the poor visibility. Last night, I switched back to stock bulbs, except for the turn signal. Might get a set of HIDs in the future, but then again I might not because I may to want to trade my car in later on.
