BIG Long Island Meet Sign-up

Ok Guys... the long island folks are the main organizers on this one. I'm gonna get things started. Here are the things we need to do to have a successful meet.

1) get a sign-up list going (in here and in every close regional thread)
2) LI peeps will be main contacts... plan on having a regional contact guy (or girl) that you can get in touch with on the day of the meet.
3) plan for each of the regions to meet in a certain local area, then come up together.. this makes it worthwile for everyone when you guys show up in nice big batches.
4) if you know of any other clubs that you'd like to invite, then contact them too. I remember some peeps mentioning that the eclipse people who invited them to their meet were gonna get invited.

Ok.. so next post up... will be a sign up... If you sign up in regional signups then make sure you CC yourself here too.

figure out how long it takes to get to 2 Ivanhoe Dr. Manalapan NJ 07726 from mapquest... and add 1.5 hours to it...

intermediate meeting place. Exit 13 Jersey Gardens outlet mall parking lot. Target time 12 PM...

4krysia: whoa, where in huntington are ya? we got 3 people from huntington on this board. me (silver gts, raised hood scoop), iMouse (silver gts), and nd4spd (blue gts, graphics)...we all have small black S2000 antennas so you can tell a nc.org celica usually from a normal celica driver. :p

when i told the significant other about january 5th, she smiled ear to ear: she loves shopping (roosevelt field), i hate it.

no, we don't have a celica yet but we're thinking of buying a new gt 5 speed this year to replace my (dave's) daily driver. instead of a license plate like "trynrace", something more appropriate for the old car is a "0 to 60 in 15 minutes" bumper sticker i saw once years ago :yawning.

the meet is in the triangle lot right behind the parking garage (opposite corner from the stores) for nordstrom's/macy's. it's a valet lot, so we might get forced to move, but i have found a bunch of other big nice empty lots to move to later if the need arises. but this one is cool. be careful, there's only one or two entrances and the rest is curbed off, but it's open. so don't run over the curb or anything.

look for the silver celica and a brown 80's corolla. i will be there around 11:30 waiting for you guys.

ANYONE BACKS OUT, WE WILL HUNT YOU DOWN AND DO HORRIBLE THINGS TO YOUR CELICA

anyway my friend called me up this morning at like 6 telling me there was a emergency pallidotomy that was gonna go down 8am at the hospital... we're both med students and you only get to see these like twice a year. anyway School comes first so I apoligize to any that have been trying to get in touch with me. Good thing carlos cant post cause otherwise he'd have my balls in a verbal assault.

Also I think someone was trying to call me from a 516 number.. whoever that is sorry i didnt pick up but obviously i couldnt cause i was in the hospital helping with the surgery.
