do u think it would be possible to install HID's made for an Acura or Honda on a celica?? i was thinking u could connect the HID bulb to the stock bulb's socket by removing the upper portion of the stock leaving only the socket and replacing it with the HID bulb. that way it would fit in the housing...u think its possible??

You can use any HID system in any car. However, the bulb base must be H7 to fit our car's lowbeams. If you force it, it will look ghetto. I know someone who got a pair of 9006s from a friend, and forced it into his celica. It made the beam pattern really retarded, and well, it didn't look correct. As long as the bulbbase is H7, you should have no problems. I know Mercedes SLKs use H7, so you could use that. I don't know about Acura TL or RL.
