I'm freakin pissed! I come back to my car after a long day of school and see my driver's side engine plastics bent back to the extremes. I was thinkin...hmmm...maybe someone tried to jack my clear corners but fortunately they were still there. I went to put the engine plastics back to where it was before and ..."****"! My Injen CAI filter is freakin gone! Who would have the nerve to jack a freakin filter. Luckily, for some strange reason, my friend happen to have an extra filter he had just bought, stuck it on, and that's what i'm using for the mean time.

wow.. damn i cant believe people go to that extent to jack isht.. esp just a FILTER?!?! damn how cheap are people getting these days.. and besides.. how did they know you even had a CAI? and which location its placed at.. doesnt it make you think? maybe it was planned? there are a lot of haters around.. sorry to hear you were a target.. but just be thankful it was only a filter.. you can get any universal filter as a replacement.. better than the included injen filter.. hope you find out who the thief was..

damn dude sorry to hear that....but this might make you feel better. Someone tried to jack my s2k attena but instead all they got was the rubber housing. I was left with a piece of plastic with wire on it.

i'm thinkin it was this guy with a silver civic. everytime i come into the 10th street parking garage, he's straight staring at me. maybe he's admiring the car or maybe's hating, i don't know. but i think it had to be someone that knew a little about celicas with CAI's.

When i parked in the 7th street garage, my antenna was stolen..im pretty sure it was by this one celica who had the front emblem and the bumper corners painted a murky red color.

omg, i used to live in san jose 6 years ago, it was a relatively nice place

thers nothing you can do about haters in theives in general.. its not just in san jo' but everywhere.. its always expected and you should always keep in mind when you park your car that anything goes.. esp if you haev a nice attractive looking car.. that's why i dont really want to get rims or anything that has to do with apperance.. and even then.. a 97+ turbo eclipse looks very attracting just how it is esp since how rare they are.. they stick out.. and it doesnt help that you can notice a triple gauge pillar on the a pillar which can easily be jacked and a loud ass "psssssssh" everytime.. and the car is red. so believe me. i know wassup. thats why i take precautions everytime.. and wen i have the chance.. i try not to drive it.. or i drive the van..

im sorry to say but ther nothing we can do except be ready when it happpens.. which means better security, parking somewhere safer, etc.

as for san jose.. san jose is stil a nice place.. it really depends where your from.. the east and north side. will always be how it is.. ghetto.. its expected for things like this to happen on that part of town.. your right.. 6 year ago it was no where like it is now.. just not as intense.. but even at that.. i still gotta throw it down for the 408..
