moded Jeep wrangler vs me:)

well i was driving to work at 6 am(yes i up that early)
and i saw this jeep, he had dual exhaust, huge rims, some yellow paint job, huge stickers everywhere
i bet u never saw a moded jeep!!!:)

well anyway, i was not going to race it, but it happened that we lined up at the light
and he started to rev(6am i am barely up), but i reved back
and as soon as light turned green i started to gain on him
he was already by 1/2 car ahead since he was rolling while it was red
but anyway in 1st i already had 3+ on him and lost him on 2nd, i could berely see
him when i was in 4th
but it was really cool to see moded jeep and even cooler to beat it

why the hell would anyone bother to do anything to a wrangler?? did you actually think it would put up much of a fight?

since he could got some kind of turbo or something
but seems like exhausts and some other small stuff

some of trucks are really fast
i "raced" my uncle lightning and it was fun he gave me head start and was palying with me with cargo in the back
so u never know until u try:)

Every time I go to the track I see modded Jeeps. There is one that is jacked up, huge tires and all beat up. It is always dirty, always taken off road. The damn thing runs low 13s. There is always some hick who is gonna mod his vehicle.

My uncle has an old CJ7 with a 454 in it ( he had to gut everything out including the entire fire wall), he has the thing all moded out including fuel injection kit, high lift cams, intake, huge dual exaust, headers, and a few other things. No joke, he kicks my ass in the 1/4 mile, he can do huge wheel stands and has almost flipped it over like 6 times. He estimates it puts out about 550 hp, he does the 1/4 mile in the mid 13's and goes from 0-60 in about 5.5, if it werent for the fat ass 36's hes sitting on, that would be redic. even know it already is. so dont underestimate the jeep, and if you see a red cj7 with black rims and 36 inch tires and a fatty dual exaust in the DC area, I would recomend keeping your distance.

there is a place around the corner from me that mnfgrs a s/c kit for the Jeep Grand Cherokee.. makes it run 1/4 in low 14s :)
