Am I the only one...

I have a few questions for you guys. Basically, I've noticed a few things that I thought shouldn't have happened.

1) When going about 90mph I can begin to hear a lot of wind coming into the car form the driver side window. The fact that the celica doesn't have a complete door frame for the window to completely close into, I wonder if this is a big contributing factor to the wind noise.

2) The other day I took the car to a car wash and as the sprayer went through my car, water came inside the car...and I was like...wtf...has this ever happened to you guys? Is this a seal problem or once again that the fact that celica lacks the upper window frame that it isn't as sturdy.

3) Due to the 2 problems decribed above, I've tried pushing on my driver side window and noticed that it shifts a little and really thought that it shouldn't. I could just be getting paranoid.

So if this is a common thing with just any celica, then I guess that's the quality of the car. If not, I will take it into the dealership and get it checked. I don't want to hear squat about driving my car through a car wash...I used to wash my car when I had a backyard but now...I live in an apt so I can't do jack...

You need to check your rubber seals..make sure they're positioned right or if they're damaged.

yeah i get a lot of wind through my door handles inside

Oh..yes on that one..I was talking about water leakage. That's definetly a seal problem

There was a TSB on the wind coming through the handles if I remember correctly. A way to fix it....

Hmm..never had any of the above problems.

i have all the above problems... its just the lack of seal the window has bordering the top. wind-noise will drive you insane. you're like "wheres it comin from?" erratically searching while you are driving 90 mph. the lack of seal really bothers me because music at a moderate volume is heard perfectly outside of the car, with all windows up.

I'm really disapointed with the car's quality...or lack of...just found out yesterday that my hatch lid, the plastic part that belongs in the trunk lining broke off so my hatch plastic no longer swivel...I have to unhook the left string in order to close the hatch. I'm heading to the dealership very soon...I'm not happy...

new cars do come w/ little stupid problems like you've listed above that need to be kinked out.

I.E. i bought my 02 brand new and my turn signals didnt shut off when i made a turn. they put the spring in the turn signal assembly to fix that.

dumb things like that i seem to be normal.
