I need help quick. I just found out recently that my front Driver tire has metal wires showing. So I rotated both fronts to the back.
How dangerous is it if one rear tire pops?
If some of you can give me some wheel websites quick, I would appreciate it.

are your tires worn? you probably corded it.

a tire blowing up is really dangerous.

err why not replace it? lol, if it goes out it'll just be like any tire exploding. you won't loose control or anything, but might damage rim and cost for tow and crap like that. replace them, come on 60 bucks a piece. that's less than towing.

Actually, a rear trire blow out is potentially more dangerous than a front tire blowing.

Now, the question that begs to be asked is, why are you still driving on a tire that is self destructing?

haha

I guess you gotta learn one way or another..

when metal wires come out of a tire they are "corded"..aka DEAD.

if you continue to drive on it, a blowout is very likely, causing you to 3 wheel it into your nearest nonmovable object.

If you're tight on money, run your spare at the least. but it's important for your safety to take that tire off the car.

yeah umm metal is BAD, when your seeing metal its probably waaaay past the time you were supposed to replace the tires. if you want rims buy them now, if not just buy 1 tire for the metal one

I'm a crazy guy! I've driven 100 miles since I last posted here.
I 'm gonna get it monday. What tires have good traction for stock 16s?

How many miles on your tires before metal started to show?!?!

Its amazing really...your tires have been severly worn waaaaaay past what is considered safe long ago if you even have metal showing!

Please take a pic of that before you toss it..if you can!

I wonder what the percentage is, of morons like you vs. safe and aware drivers on the road.

If you can't afford to drive safely, maybe the celi is out of your price range?

REPLACE your tires immediately. Don't drive the car until you do.. You're an accident waiting to happen!!!

This guy is going to win the Darwin award. Driving on a tire that is damaged to the extent of his is not crazy, it's stupid. It's white-trash mentality. I hope he's not driving around my part of town.

Jesus, take it easy on the guy.

Was he stupid for riding the tires to the wire? yes. Was it his fault? yes. Is it his fault that he is ignorant in the matter? No. That is why he asked the question.

You should be lucky he asked the question or he would still be riding on that shiet next to you somewhere on the street waiting to pull a 360 into your car. I for one am glad he asked the question, so now I can be more aware of morons on the road, errr excuse me, of people like that.
