Intake cleaning kit????

i was just wondering after how long do u need to clean you intake....and is their a cleaning available to clean it....somebody please hook me up with some information?

my friend, who has more experience than i, recommended to me to clean the intake every 3 oil changes. you can buy a cleaning kit at just about any auto store.

when i got my k&n filter it said clean every 100,000 miles. it looks like my CAI has the same type filter so you prolly wont ever have to clean it.
