I would like to drop the rear of my car to cover up the wheel gap. Car has 17' rims on it now was wandering how much of a drop i would need and what is the best bang for the buck thanks.

go for an eibach sportline drop.. 1.8" and 2.1" itll fill ur gap really nicely and u cant go wrong with Eibach..

I don't know if they have anything for your car, but a good "tein" suspension will give drop, and add nicely to the cornering abilities of the car. Also "ground control" is a good coil-over setup.

i think he wants best bang for the buck.. so a tein system is not an option as they can go for over a grand, the ground control coilovers is also an option but he'll soon have to start shopping for new shocks as his stock shocks wont handle more than 2-3 months.. i think Lowering springs are your best bet lord..

oh sorry, didnt see the bang/buck statement. Yeah just some lowering springs would be the best bet for right now.
But you may want to save up and get a coil over setup and shocks at the same time, b/c your stock shocks will not like the new coil overs, and they may not last long. Then you can adjust ride height for different occasions. Just a thought.

if you have a kit you always want coilovers for the most part. unless you are me who lowered the car before the kit. you prolly want to be able to lower/highten for exact clearance

so if i get coilovers then i have to get new shocks too?

you would want too, yes.
If I were you I would save up a few more bux and get the coil over setup with new shocks. But if ou just want drop and don't care about performance, and being able to raise/lower your car, then just get springs.

whats the best coilover system + shock setup for not that much money?

I don't know about you LordFusion, but when I had the domestic U.S. bumper with 17" rims, I was only running ~5" of clearance. With a coil setup, you are probably looking at a big drop and you'll be scraping around everywhere. Only you know what you can do though.
If I were you though, I would go with some springs that give a moderate but noticeable drop, such as the TRD, or Eibach Pro Kit. Maybe even the Goldlines.

I don't know what systems are out for your car, maybe someone else could help you a little more.

will it matter if i only drop the back or the car? i think if a drop the front too the blitz kit will be way to low

Theoretically, you could do it, I don't know if it would look good though. If you are going to do something like that though, I would recommend doing so with the TRD springs which would make things look much more even. How much clearance are you running right now?

Yeah, but that is with the stock rims...I remember when I was rolling on stock hubcaps and I had about 3 inches of clearance in the front and not much more in the back (it applies here since me and LordFusion have the same front and back).
Seeing LordFusion's car reminds me that I need to go to a meet sometime in Orlando so I can see what other people's Celicas look like. I have heard a lot of good things about LordFusion's car, but I have never seen it in person.

i have gunmetal motegis now same rims as u gt. ill try to get some pics up. im either gonna go with the trd drop or the eiback sportline. do you think if i drop the front with either kit that it will be too low for blitz?

Eibach Sportlines will be way too low 1.8" in the front. The TRDs though might be OK, since it is a little over an inch in the front. Depends on what you think will be streetable for you and how much clearance you are running right now.

Yeah, me and LordFusion even got our body work done by the same person. We should meet up sometime and take pictures of our cars together.
