I have not found clear answer on this one, but I have 17's on my wife's Acura Legend, and I run them about 2-3 pounds harder than OEM. I do this to help reduce the chance of rim damage, due to the shorter sidewall, if they encounter a pothole or curb.

Someone told me between 30 to 35 psi, but I have a 45 sidewall. It really depends on the max is on your tires, because you have to subtract couple from a cold start. Since in cold weather the temp drops and the pressure drops. Then when the tires roll around for awhile your tire pressure goes up. Advice from someone who told me.

The Tire Pressure should be at 32psi. If you notice it to start to wear in the middle of the tire let some air out, if it is wearing towards the outside let some air in.
