will window tinting affect radar dectetors? i got 5% tint on side and 20% on back.

probably not much unless you have metallic tint. Unless you have a radar detector that can sense behind you it really isnt going to matter.

escort 8500 have 360 detection. and my front windshield have a 5% tint strip.. lol it's kinda ironic. i got escort to warn me when police is around so i can roll down my windows. but then my tint is hurting my radar detector.

thanks, thatw was a good read. too bad they only talked about laser detection. i'd like to see how it fare up against the ka guns. mostly because there's more ka guns out there now than laser gun.

lOL... i have a 360 detector, its inplace of my ashtray. werks great and looks cool there. I'm actually thinking about installing it permanently in there.
