hey ppl... yesterday i was trying to install my pioneer cd player and i had nothing but problems.. i had the mounting kit and the harnessing wire it was all ready to go.. when i tried to connect the harnesing wire to the car it didnt fit.. i went EVERYWHERE from best buy to circuit city to tweeter and everyone was showing me the same harness plugs.. i talked to one guy who was farily knowledgeable and he was telling me that im gonna have to rewire the entire car because i have the premium sound package with an amp... i was just wondering if this was true... and if not.. what am i doing wrong.. thanks..

yup no harness for the gts. you either have to rewire it yourself or add new speakers and run new speaker wires.

there is a harness. i bought one from somebody who makes them. synchros i think? i think the site is www.nextcelica.net
it's $30 or so and plugs in behind the glove box. you disconnect the amp and plug it in. add some wire to it , wire it to the new stereo and splice the power wire from the stock radio and there you go.

it's really nice and worth it if you don't feal like wireing the car :)
