i was at walmart last week and i was looking in the toy section for the 1/18 scale civic Si. well i couldn't find but i found something even cooler. they got a little hotwheels celica. it's tight, it's got a wing and kit and it's yellow . if you own a celica this little toy is a must have. it's only 68 cents. if you can't find it or haven't seen it look it up on ebay.

Go to Frank and Son's in West Covina on Wed's or Sat. They have them there or just be patient and go through the Hot Wheel's at Walmart Toy's R Us or Target. The one's that cost a lot more the ones that have different wheels on them.

I didn't know about them until I read somebody's post about two weeks ago. TARGET seems to be the only place that has them in stock regularly; I saw about 8-10 just last week. Bought 2: one's sitting in my office, the other one I'm keeping unopened. Also bought the MR2; passed on the Civic Si http://www.newcelica.org/ubb/biggrin.gif . These things are addictive! I started with just Toyota stuff, now I'm adding Jaguars and Ferraris. <IMG SRC="http://www.newcelica.org/ubb/smilies/cwm20.gif" border=0>

Yeah I feel ya. I just got the Celica and next thing I know I'm buying other cars. I guess I'm just getting back to my childhood again, but this time just keeping them in the package or buying one to open and one to keep.

Don't buy the hotwheels car on ebay. Its 2 for $1 at k-mart this week. I'm not a person with a huge amount of time, and it took me over a month to find the celicas, but i see them all the time now at K-mart. I have 3 of them. So just keeping looking, and you'll get it, save yourself some money, and have some fun with the search for it.

i have a 3 different yellow F40, ferrari red 550, the special dark gray 360 modena, a tomica(japan) factory white 2000 celica, the lotus elise, 2 different vechicross.

some guy on ebay is selling painted(black, white, etc...) ones for like $10, but i dont think it looks as nice with factory colors and yellow tint.

i saw the mr2, and i thought nice. But i didn't buy it cause i want the current model mr2, not the old one. i hope they make an suv series with the Rav4.

Like LBCelica2K1 said, don't buy those things off ebay. They're not worth $20. The local Walmart around here has a $hitload of them. I got mine for $.94 a piece. Just be patience and look around your local Walmart or Kmart.

When I was in the Philippines last Sept I was able to get some Tomy Celica's for like a buck and I was able to get a 30th anniversary Celica set with 4 different kinds of Celica's. I should see if I should get some more from my cousin's there and sell them here.

okay, THANK YOU for this post. After reading it, like ItalianFire, I got so psyched and decided to bust my ass over to Walmart and look for the little celica. Mind you this was 2 hours ago...at 2:00AM. Thank God for 24hr SuperWalmarts. I got there, and tore through the 12 rows of hot wheels...each row being 10 cars deep. The night shift workers were looking at me like I was some sort of *******. <IMG SRC="http://www.newcelica.org/ubb/smilies/cwm2.gif" border=0> but you know what?...it's the celica and I must have it...<IMG SRC="http://www.newcelica.org/ubb/smilies/cwm17.gif" border=0> anyway...so in the 9th row I FOUND IT!!!

It's yellow, with KDR Kasai rims (obviously hot wheels put the "sport rims" that they put on all of the sport models...but they're exactly like the KDR Kasai's...phat rims by the way) They look like 18"ers too. lol. And it also looks like the little car is lowered!...about 2" drop I'd say LOL.

It's got a HUGE graphic placed on each side diagonally from the middle of the side skirt, running up to the top rear of the car. It says "RHL man TURBO" LOLLOL...looks like it's Xanny's car http://www.newcelica.org/ubb/smile.gif and then on the front of each door is a list of sponsors: Hurley Suspension, GWalker, _______ FX, Soto Tires, Weise, and Sanders Racing Clutch. LOL...

oh, it has a big plastic wing...and tinted headlights (smoked). It's got a body kit too...the front bumper is a mix between the trd and blitz...the side skirts are definitely blitz...and the rear is something I've never seen before. The cool thing is that the spoiler matches the design of the rear bumper.

But because my real baby is Spectra Mica Blue, I'm going to have to get some paint and paint this baby celi when I have some extra time on my hands.

yeah, basically. it has the same wheels, but they don't stick out like that...it doesn't have the black windows, they're clear, and they painted over the tinted headlights...other than that, that's the car. It looks much better in real life. In case you're put off by that picture. That picture really does not do it justice. It looks phat in real life. Go get one and you'll see. Hell, it's only .70 cents.

.......a model/hobby store is any store that sells model cars, planes, boats, etc etc. Just look it up in your yellowpages and you'll find one in your area.

are you guys taking about the old MR2 of the new one? i remember back in the day wheni i had an old MR2 rally style. it had four big fog lights in the front and it was paint white with an orange to yellow fade of squares on it. that MR2 was hot.
