Prevents water splash obviously. I would definately get it. Unless you live somewhere it never rains.

Just got the Injen slash guard from the Nc.org store, Larry was really fast on the order and shipping.

I think you should get it, it will prevent some problems with water during rain season.

Try the Nc.org store.

Hi there, yes, definitely get a splash guard, it could save your engine. I also just got mine from Larry and it was there less than a week from when I ordered it. It's actually called a "heat shield" but Injen has it doubled as a splash guard.

Best of luck, the CAI rules!

it doesn't fit the AEM intake pipe? I've always thought that the intake pipe diameter between the two would be similar or close enough that the splash guard would fit onto the AEM too. May be you should try get one from Injen anyway and some custom fit it. If I remember correctly, you have to tightened it onto the intake pipe. So, if the AEM pipe is not drastically bigger than the Injen, I think it should fit, IMO.
