I just installed a new Pioneer deck (deh 840mp). When I tried hooking up a pre amp tube, it stopped working. I checked all fuses and everything was OK. I hooked up the stock deck to make sure it wasn't the wiring and the stock deck worked. So I took a light tester to check and make sure power was going through the pioneer wire harness. I put one side of the tester on the battery ground and checked each slot on the harness by putting the positive end of the light tester in the slot and attaching it's corressponding wire to the positive side of the battery, All is fine except for the 2 lines with the fuse resistors (dimmer and accessory). Could that be the problem? I've never delt with fuse resistors so I thought one of you may enlighten me.
