This is not an Asian plastic kit what melts after a couple hours. It is the original and when you want to make it fit into 9006 (HB4) or H4, H7 you need to modify the housing or make your own adapter plate out of an old bulb. I am not going to tell you this is possible for your car like other HID seller.
just so peple dont buy it and say "hey it doesnt fit" this is NOT an H7 based kit. this is for use in OEM HID housings.

ya but some of those kits are crap. cuz they still have ignitors, the newer HID systems dont have ignitors, they just have ballasts. with the ignitors in them making everything more compact.

its good to see HIDs becoming more and more affordable!
I have a feeling sometime in the future, HIDs will be standard on all cars. Halogen will be the thing of the past. All other lights will either be LED, fiber optic (driven by a xenon light), or neon. Halogen is very very inefficient; it creates more heat than light. Houselights will be flourescent, street lamps are now mostly gas discharge (if not all), traffic lights will be come all LEDs...

you can make a cover for very cheap and it blocks all the yellow of the light going towards the bottom making the output whiter and with more color(blue/purple)

Is he going to use the turkey baster idea?
Does our projector headlamps need this retrofit?.........Is his main reason for doing this for the color change or the glare problems?

he's trying to get rid of the yellow its throwing out and the cut off line is still yellow and red mix. he's trying to get the purple blue cutoff i think.
hopefully it comes out good.
i think he's trying the turkey baster

Not yet......I haven't forgotten about ya.
I'm currently in PA (I live in VT, but parents are in PA) for xmas. But, I gotta tell ya, I'm ready to buy a NEW kit!!!!
Why? Because this is the same kit that Alex had that causes those DAMN shadows on the ground!!!....The return wire is on the wrong damn side of the bulbs!.......I see why he was upset, it is quite noticeable, now that he pointed it out.
