I might be trading in my black celli auto which has been in a pretty bad acident before then fixed for a red 5-spd one. but I'm worried that the previous owner was some hothead kid that beat the hell out of it. I've driven it a few times seems alright to me, maybe a little jerk when u engage the clutch but that may be because I was just letting it out too fast. other other ways to check if its been abused? The GT seems pretty fast to me, it should keep up with other cars with some mods right?

don't know if this will help you much, but you can tell if it has had any major problems by putting in it's VIN at www.carfax.com (http://www.carfax.com) and paying a little bit for a report. it may be worth it if you have some doubts about it. good luck...

Also they have this company called Lemonbusters. It's a mobile mechanic that goes around and checks out used cars to see if they are in perfect running condition. Check them out.

Definitely take the car to a certified Master Mechanic. It will probably cost between $50 & $150 to have the car checked out completely, but it's well worth it when buying a used car. :square
