I had some work done on my car at the local shop and i noticed some overspray on the front hood. i was wondering if there was anything i could buy to remove it. If anyone has had experience with this any information would be helpful. thanks for your time.

Supposedly clay bars work well for overspray. I personally have never used one to remove overspray, but for general paint maintenance they are BADA$$!! You can do your entire car in about 1/2 an hour! In a couple of weeks I might be needing to try out the overspray thing because I've gotta get a dent removed... :(

Clay bars work very well for overspray, if your car had a good base of wax before the painting occured. I was able to get off all the dusting on my wife's car. But if it happened at a shop why don't you take it back to them to have them fix it?

ps- clay bar also works well on overspray on the glass
