I got a ticket too, you are all gonna love this one

I was driving with my friend to wallmart at like 12 midnight, and i came out of a bend at like 25 and punched it in second. I took it up to about 3500 rpms, and shifted and went normally. Thats about 33 mph, and the speed limit was 25. Well, I see a policeman pull up behind me before I get to a stop sign. The guy ahead of me goes through the stop sign and busts it at like 45 up the road. I though omg, he is gettin a ticket. Well, as it was, the cop followed me through3 traffic lights and 4 stop signs, and finally pulled me over. He gave me a ticket for excessive accelleration back on the bend that I accellerated out of. wtf is that. Excessive accelleration, I wasn't even in first gear. This was before I had my exhaust, so he had to hear the intake. 95 dollars out the window. WTH is up with that. No points or insurance being raised, so I paid it, but I know he was tryin to get me for as much as he could and waiting for me to make another mistake at one of those stop signs or lights, and the best he could do was excessive accelleration. It was near the endof the month, and he probably needed to meet his quota.

you got to learn, the system doesnt care what he got and what you got, they dont compare, you could do the same crime get 300$ ticket, and the other guy get a 20$ ticket, they do not compare.

I didn't wanna get technical on his ass because he didn't seem like there was too much upstairs. The maximum accelleration in a celica isn't $hit compared to a ZO6 or anything like that. I wanted to ask exactly how you define excessive accelleration, but some of the cops in that area are known for being a$$holes, so I let it go. Thats the kind of garbage that stereotypes cops though, and I know plenty of cool cops that told me that he had no grounds to give me a ticket. But they also told me that since he wrote down that I was going over the speed limit, it is his word against mine if we went into court, and where I got the ticket from, I would have been screwed.

If i was a Cop and saw both a Celica and a Z06 doing what you did.. I'd probably pull over the Celica.. Why? Because the guy in the Z06 payed alot for his car and i'd admire him :D

the best was my friend, he got pulled over for running a stop sign and he said "officer im sorry but im dislexic! (sp?) i thought it said pots!!!!" i was in the car w/ him and the officer actually laughed but still gave him the ticket...still some funnnnnny stuff :cool:
