ladies and gentlemen,

i finally finished my latest project (pics tonight!). after months of research and 12 hours of wiring, checking, rewiring, stripping the car down, testing, drilling and loosing nerves, i am the proud owner of a deh 8400 mp headunit, hooked up with hifonics warrior speakers. which are running through a two-channel amp (temporarily, will swap that one to a four channel amp).

the sound is, and believe me, UNBELIEVABLE!!! it is so clear, i can actually turn the sound to maximum with no rattling, cracking sounds or whatever. i just wanted to tell you guys about it. :-)

i love it. i love it. i love it.

merry christmas and a happy new year.

Hey man way to go! :applaud: Doing it yourself is so much more satisfying.

I also pulled my car apart and installed my Pioneer Deh-P9300, Pioneer rear speakers, my Pioneer GM-334 4ch amp and Pioneer XM digital tuner.

Again nice work and we'll have to compare pics

sounds awesome. i'm about to install the pioneer deh-p940mp deck and a custom setup in my trunk with 2 12's and an amp...i'll take pictures of the whole setup, cause i'm gonna strip down my car to the metal for this work. i dont know what subs/amp im getting yet but it will prob. run me just as much if not more than my expensive deck

Hahahahah, yeah go Grooverider, great choice!

You guys notice that this is now a Black Celica manual/Pioneer head unit thread?

Stripping your car down is almost a must to do a quality job. Mine was bare for about 2 weeks. I'll post pics soon.
