Im at a red light fighting with my GF on the phone and trying to find another CD on the way to a NewYears party. I look up and the light turns green and SCREEEEEECH!! I see a newer Red Civic SI take off..Damn, I didn't even see him. I hang up the phone and casually catch up to him. He's let out thinking I won't race him and as soon as I get about a car behind him, I jam second hit lift and pull hard. I hear the intake on his car screaming(Damn Civic Intakes are loud as hell!). Well, that was kinda unfair, I kinda sand Bagged him by launching from behind him while he was crusing. I catch him at the next light and throw a couple of nice 6k revs..I see his GF in the passanger seat..I wait till the cross traffic light goes yellow and decide to go for the "Drag Strip Launch" I hold at 6K and when the light goes green im slow on the reaction and also realize that the street asfault just doesn't get tracktion like the track...We both smoke em out the hole and then I bog a litte....I hit lift and the tires really let go, I let off the gas a little and he gains 1/2 a car, wait for traction and jam the gas.....baaaaaWAHHHHHHHH as it hit 6k..Jam second, land lift and just pull..ran out 3rd gear let out around 80mph, he's about 4 cars or so back..I shmoked him...felt great, first good street race Ive had in a while..He follows me even after I turn, revving on me...Maby trying to tell me my left tail light was out, I dunno...I turn again on my buddies street but he keeps going and doesn't follow...
