i'm an rsx-s owner and just found your board here...looks really good!

i like the celicas...never owned one, but have had numerous competitors (2000 cougar v6 mtx, 2003 tiburon gt v6, and now the rsx-s).

i've tried to test drive the gt-s 6spd but the stupid dealerships around here never have them in stock. :( the closest i got was an automatic, but i'm sure there is a huge difference.

i'm very happy with the rsx-s and hear that performance is essentially identical between it and the gt-s...leaving it up to the drivers to battle it out. :)

anyway, glad to be here!

welcome... our cars are all about driver... (and of course you have a honda that has tons of aftermarket backing unlike us)
very tight competition between the 2 in autox :)

Welcome to the boards. My buddy just bought a type s and it really is nice. I want to race him and see how fast it is, but he's still breaking it in! I'm sure it'll be close!

no mods so far...i'm not sure if i will because of the pain it is to remove all mods when it's time to sell. i have been changing cars pretty quickly, so modding isn't too "practical" for me right now (until i find a car i'll keep longer than a few years).

thanks for the welcome over here--i read numerous boards (rsxworld, clubrsx, fastcougar.com, etc) and am getting VERY tired of the bashing that goes on. :(

i just like cars, plain and simple. :)
