January 19th DCM7thGEN RTC meet.

Hello all!

The waffling is done :)! Sorry no Hooters guys.

The next DCM7thGEN meet will be held at Reston Town Center in Reston VA at 1 pm. We will meet on the top of the parking deck that is kinda across from Uno's and the Movie Theatre, this is the one we went to, to take pics after we went to see Fast and the Furious. If you come in from the Main Entrance it would be the second one down after you take a right (if I have a bad memory of this would someone please correct me, or better yet if they have the name of the parking deck that would be great). We will go see a movie after this (I like the Time Machine, but it isnt binding). We can also get food or whatever afterward, but I'm not going to be the one holding the check this time again. Uno's was pretty easy to deal with last time we went but we also had fewer people, so we will see.

I, most regrettably, will probably not be able to make this meet. My church has a meeting like once every 6 mos. and it is on the 19th from 8:30am- 4:30pm in Timonium, MD. I doubt it would even be worth the drive leaving so late. I loved the last meet and will be at future meets. :(

Well Tom, it will be nice to finally meet you. The next meet (Feb) will be at Dulles Town Center then March will be in MD. April is when I'm trying to set up a huge multiple car club meet. Supras, Eclipses, RSXs, Celicas, maybe even MR2's.

I guess I'm new to this list. I live just south of DC in Stafford VA. I'd be interested in coming up and seeing everyone's cars. What do you guys do at these meetings? Hang out and look at other cars?

Yes! We hang out and look at each others cars. . . .

We also get updates on the club, get issued the monthly newsletter, usually get lunch/dinner and sometimes see a movie or do something else. You can stay for just the hour or two of "haning out" or you can do all the rest of the things too.:)

Hey guys most of you dont know me because I dont post as much as I should, but Ive been bumbed out since I got laid of last MArch, but im cool now, but I work durring the weekends and I would really like to go to the meets, I was wondering if maybe we can have a friday meet every once in a while? , just a thought I just really want to be part of the team.

To anyone interested, if you are coming from maryland we can get a pre-meet going again. Now we have been blessed with the usage of Walkie-talkies, so keeping together should be much easier. :D

If it's just going to be me, Joe, Liz, and John then I suggest we meet @ Joe's or my place. :)

Sorry but for us (myself, Prinya and Joe) Waldorf is so not our direction. We are all up in baltimore and isn't Waldorf south of DC? Maybe DonP since he is in Annapolis? Or someone in Virginia maybe?

That's ok, I guess I'll bring the camera anyways.

Meets usually last the entire day. We spend the first hour or two just hanging around the cars checking everyone's rides and wait for people to show up. Then we usually get some grub, see a movie, play games, depending on where we go. Then we all go back outside when it's dark and check out our rides at night. :D

Then we all go home. But it's really up to you how long you want to stay.

If you read closely there are directions to the meet location in the very first post of this thread. Also, if you show up 30 mins late, you can't miss all those celis parked together. Check the Reston Town Center map. I'm sure it will have the parking ramps on there as well as the movie theater and Pizzaria Unos listed.
