I'm going w/ streetglo gold pckg......One of the admin(God bless his soul, but I forget who) pointed me in the right direction as to what to get exactly...however...

I need mounting tips....anyone have experience installing kits?

I have the TRD kit...do you think it'll be easier to hide the bulbs? it's also dropped 2.5 "


I'm just nervous about attempting the install myself. Any help, suggestions welcomed.

the street glow gold kit is not that hard to install. just make sure that all the wires can reach each other since they are wired in a big circle for the most part. the transformer is the harest part to mount or atleast it was when i installed the same kit on my friends Chrysler Cirus. haven't installed on a celica but just look for nice flat places on the bottom of the car and try to tuck the bulbs behind the sideskirts as much as possible to not make them visable. install is not hard just follow the directions that are included and you will have no problem. i installed the kit in a parking lot and it took about an hour.

if your car is lowered watch out... my buddy crack a couple bulbs cuz of it...

I'm not too worry about the sides or the rear....I'm just concerned about hiding it up front......

Yeah, I shattered one of mine. I have a Streetglow Blueline kit...I'm thinking of switching brands...I'm not too happy with mine. I've had 2 burnt out bulbs and one shatter in a matter of months.

I've got Low Glow and they are great. I'm lowered 2" and not had a problem with cracking or broken tubes.

you shoulda told me

i have a streetglow gold series.. blue neon kit sitting in my garage

i dont think its worth installing, mainly because i get pulled over too much... between my tint, a cop pulled me over for my hids.... and i have strobes/neons-and also blue led lights which give off more glow than a neon rod and require less space to install...

i woulda sold you my kit for cheap

eddie....how much? hehe..actually..i didn't get the blue..i went w/ turquoise(the bright lighter blue)..but thanks for the offer!

BTW..i got my gauge LED's switched just nicely..looks tight.....

Well just try and install it yourself...mount them as you see fit, and if you come across anything, just post and we'll see what we can do. That's just my idea..and that's usually what i do.
