My TRD exhaust only replaced the rear half of the car, it seems like the front half from the headers including cat and resonator, there is a long stretch of stock piping... Is that how its supposed to be? It only replaced the stock muffler...
Is that part of stock piping efficient? whats the diameter..
Has anyone done a custom job?

:ugh: :wtf: That's why they call it an axle-back exhaust system genius.

Yes I know it's an axle back.. my main concern is if anyone has custom piped the rest of whats stock.. or if its efficient the way it is...

yah that part of the stock piping is very efficient, you dont' need to do anything

the stock piping is HUGE for a 4bannger and the bends are smooth, there's no gains in going with a different piping...

The resonator right behind the cat is kinda restrictive, though. But removing it will make your car really loud.

Has anyone had any good experiences with putting in a high-flow res?

ok i got that amss dp, wich removes the resonator, and its a lot louder now, sounds like a real race car with everything i have.
