I wana join!!! I've been there haven't been any meets to goto lately. I'd really like to ASAP because I need'a sport a team and I have so much Respect for you guys and I know some of your members and we get a long well. I live in LB so I'm local also.

Also, need some opinions. I was thinking of this kit and I need some ideas (I dropped VIS because of there quality in kits). Veilside Back, R2 Sides, havent decided on a front and fender flares.

If you want Unison's attention, wouldn't you think it is better to post over in the Unison's board? - Not Good.

You told me and Rick that you were sponsored by 5-zigen. Then, we found out that your "sponsored dual exhaust" is from eBay. - Not Good.

VIS, despite their quality, is one of the biggest kit manufacturers in the industry. Cars will line up for their sponsorship. You dropped them? More like they drop you, right? - Not Good.

No event for you to attend? Team Unison and MBautosport just had one of the biggest meets last Sunday. People came from as far as San Diego and NorCal. You live in Long Beach and couldn't attend. - Not Good.

I'm one of the guys that will vote on membership, and you screwed me out of the TRD exhaust over a lousy $50. - Definitely Not Good.

Matt, Team Unsion is looking for people who are honest, straight forward, and dedicated. We are not a Team for you to "sport" around. If you want to join, the first thing you need to do is stop BSing about everything that you don't have yet. It is OK to let people know that you paid for the stuffs with your hard-earned cash, most of us do, instead of telling people you're "sponsored" by this, and you're "sponsored" by that. We don't need that kind of crap in Team Unison. Second, you need to get your car done. We are all interested in what the WC turbo can do. Third, do your best to come to our meets and meet EVERYONE, not just a few.

When you do all this, then we can talk about membership.

Wow, you're all pissed because I didn't sell you the exhaust!!!

1.) Never said I was sponsored by 5-Zigen. My sponsors are MBautosport.com and West Covina Toyota.

2.) Paul knew I couldn't make it to the Unison meet because I had to work an extra day because of christmas... I make commission.

3.) VIS, I dropped VIS ask Blue Batmobile. I asked him many times about VIS and when I went down there and saw there Copse (C-One) kit I told them that I'd pass on having them convert my whole car because they can't even make a normal kit with good quality.

4.) Honest and straight forward. Well, let me be as honest and straight forward as possible. 50 bucks is 50 bucks, never promised you the exhaust, I work hard for my money and I never go around saying I get things for free, I also had a big post about how I got my dual 5Zigens on ebay so why would I claim sponsorship.

5.) BSing!!!! Okae then, I don't BS you can ask any people that are close to me that I am one of the most down to earth person around, thats why I am assisting in making a good quality turbocharger for our cars.

Bottom line, don't make stuff up because I didn't sell you an exhaust that really sucks because I give my props to Unison than anybody. Right now, I want to be on a team and if you want to deny me mebership on claims that I can back up than do that.

Sponsored by MB? Funny Min never mentioned you. Never seen you at shows representing MBautosport. How can you missed your own sponsor's event? Oh right, you had to work. Come on now. What did Min give you? A hoodscoop? A set of gauge? A couple of stickers? And you called that sponsorship? I just talked to Min. The only Celicas being sponsored by MBautosport are cars from Team Unison. If you were at the last meet, you would have known how close Paul, myself and a few others are working with Min on different projects. Man, you're so full of it and just don't know when to quit.

I asked you why you were selling your TRD exhaust. You said you were sponsored by 5-zigen. You told Rick the same thing. So, the two of us are lying? Never promised me the exhaust? Why did you end auction early when I told you to? $50 is $50? I can understand that. But, all you had to do was tell me about it instead of wasted my time. So my time is not worth anything?

Sorry, I really was hoping to become a member I talked to Paul on the phone about it for almost 2 hours. I am honestly no lie disappointed I mean seeing what you have wrote really hurts me. All this because I didn't sell you an exhaust. Geez, I am sorry. Not sponsored by 5 Zigen... I have a friend who was hooking me up with the install here in LB the only thing I was waiting for was him to give me the piping he was making so I could go install it. Maybe you guys misunderstood but, whatever I guess.

Look Matt, I am pissed because you wasted my time. That's a fact. But, it is not the only reason you're not in Unison. The truth is your conducts are questionable. Look around the board, man. People are sick of you blabbing your month and basically telling you to shut up.

So, now I am close minded? Read my original reply to your post. I asked you to do 3 things:

1. Stop the BS
2. Get your car done
3. Come and meet EVERYONE

If I am close minded and not willing to give you a chance, why would I invite you to meet everyone?

What's going on guys? To much arguing between car enthusiats. If Team Unison doesn't want someone to join they should just say that and not slam him/her on the board. And everything else should be handled privatly between the disputing people not where everyone can see it. Thats just my opinion. See you all later.

Min is the head guy at MBAutosports. My stock hoodscoop and Paul's was used to make the C-One Knock offs. Do I know the guy yeah. I was talking to him about doing the 3SGTE conversion but he was doing one on his MR2 at the time so he told me it wouldnt be a good idea. Last time I checked I was still sponsored. I was actually going to get a full Carcept Kit from Min and MBautosport was going to replicate it but I got in a car accident. Man I can even tell you what Min looks Like hahaha!!! I actually dealed with him back when they where at there old shop in the boonies. As for Min saying only unison members are sponsored, I don't know about that. I havent talked to him in 2 months because Ive been busting my @ss with this Turbo project that nobody seems to care about... except a few.... so I havent talked to him. I actually talked to Paul about 3 weeks ago and we talked about some $hit... other than that I don't know.

Well, whatever I know whats, what. This is probly more a misunderstanding more than anything. But at any rate... still have always wanted to be a Unison member me and my g/f... we are going to be Prototype #1 and #2 so if you change ur minds... 2 sooon to be turbocharged Celica's with no teams sitting here.

I dont know what really happened between you and the unison guys but from what i read from you and from what i read in this thread...You sound like you dont know jack$hit about what you are doing...you sound like you are throwing names around, and about knocking on ViS? I know the owner personally and i will ask him about u, when i talk to him on saturday...If u want to get along in the car scene, u need need to be straight forward and be nice to people and shops! At any rate I have wanted to vent for a long time now because its not a lot of people like I said earlier, its the same people that flame me. A handfull of them don't even have Celica's anymore. And if you ask the people that know me on the board you'd understand why im so psyched about this turbo. There are things going on in this project that I can't post because people like you get mad. Don't ruin this for the 99.9% of people on this board that care. You obviously only care about yourself.

And like somebody said in one of my other thread... they hate me too i suppose, right?

The first part of reply was to give example of why I think Matt was BSing. Second part was to tell him what he need to do if you wants to join Team Unison. I think I owe it to him to back up my claim that he is BSing. If anyone feels I am slamming him, then so be it. At least I backed up my sh*t instead of plently accused him.

Matt, meeting Min and knowing where his shop is doens't mean jack. So does hundreds of his customers. It doesn't mean they are all sponsored. You need to be involved with your sponsors, helping them with new products, and more importantly, promoting your sponsors. You know, kinda like what Paul is doing. You have not talk to MB in two months, never seen you at shows promoting MB. I bet you don't even have MB decals on your car. Even if you were sponsored, don't be surprised if they dropped you. Ray is right. Don't burn your bridges with shops. VIS, regardless of quality, was gonna give you a kit for free, and you slammed them. The least you can do is stay neutural.

Yes it has been a long time...I actually talked to jermaine a couple of times about his current situation on his car...I'm glad that toyota took care of it...I'm sorry but i dont remember you name! hehe I mostly remember cars and faces...hehehe. Maybe i'll come to one of your meets and see you guys...and show you my "old school project"

As far as Matt, i dont feel that u are slamming him. You are just pointing out things that he does..Do u remember the times i took my car to unison meets a long time ago? I was very nice to u guys and even tried to help jermaine paint his first R2 kit? I was very courteous to u guys and told u guys everything i had and know about...I never one tried to make myself sound like i was the $hit or anything else..I give matt some credit for trying but i feel that he isnt doing what a good, smart car enthusiast should do. He sounds like a "frontrunner"...not very smart. And as far as burning bridges.....I know some people didnt get good stuff from Vis, it happens anywhere when fiberglass bodykits are concerned.. I was lucky that Chris gave me good quality stuff that i was proud to have on my car. I sported his stickers and told any celica owners who saw my car on the street to go to him...I treated Chris the way that he treated me.The way, i see it, if a place is willing to give you stuff and be good to you, dont be a byatch about it...ITS FREE! I will fill you in the detail at our next meet. But, believe me, my time wasted was worth more than the lousy $50 he got. If he were straight up with me, I would have given him more $$ than to go through the hassle. That's the whole point. It is not the $$, but all the BS and wasted time. Unfortunately, "Mr. Greedy" there seems to think it is OK to BS someone over $$$. That shows what kind of character he is.

OK... I gotta step in now. I am also a Unison member. I say Tony let it go. He said sorry many times now so just let this drop, you can always find another exhaust for $300. Though he wasted your time you are wasting more time here pointing that out. Let this arguement stop. One suggestion Darkstar, change your sigs man. Since you "dropped" VIS and are not getting that C-One wide body kit you were talking about take it off your sig and that pic off your sig, because you are advertising something you do not have that is frowned upon in any of the club. Take anything that is not suppose to be on your sig later when you get the stuff you can always put it back it is very simple to do. I am excited about the West Covina Turbo but I do not want this bits and pieces of info you are letting out, rather you and David just bury your head into this project and finish the damn thing so we can get it. I am sure you are excited all the parts that will be installed soon on your car, it would look better if it is in your car and let people take a look at the engine compartment.
That is the reason why alot of people flame you on the forum, it sounds like you are flaunting what you do not yet have.
This is just an suggestion dude, don't go off on me because of what I said. After all it is just an suggestion.
Oh! by the way I do remember you posted something about you being sponsored by 5zigen. It was a while back don't remember where you posted that.

The Sig has been changed and I remember what you're talking about but it was for Rims not for exhaust. Silver00GT and myself were talking about this last night. I have a friend who works for a distributer and he was going to hook me up with 5ZR Rims. It didn't work out though. It wasn't for the exhaust. Also, i'm not flaunting I just thought you guys would want to know everything we know. I was just being proactive because so many people on this board know so much that the more we get feedback the better we can be. I'm sorry a everything I'm just trying the best I can to not promote but to help other owners out.

Ill give you an update on the turbo then since I'm here. Monday john from hotshot said to come on in but I wont be able to drop everything off until Tuesday so thats the day. Like I said before we're done, we're just waiting on hotshot.

Matt wanted to join Unison. I said he BS too much. I gave the reasons why I think he is BSing. We can talk about the details if you want, but we had danced around that long enough. The exhaust was one of the reasons why I think he is BSing. Somehow people seems to just focus on that.

So, Mike. If you want to comment on Unison related issues, please do. If it is about the exhaust, just leave it up to Matt and myself.
