Check your door sill and you'll find Toyota's reccommended pressure... i would +2-4 psi so you can prottect your wheels a little better.
BTW are you sure that they are 215/30s? or are they 215/35s?

thanks again max, Im not sure what the recomended tire pressue is but i noticed n the tire that is says (max psi 50). Should i disregard that if the toyota recomended tire pressure is over 50 psi?
thanks a lot

No, never go over the tires maximum air pressures. Remember that the maximum is that, the MAXIMIM not the suggested :)
BTW i am sure that Toyota's suggested air pressure is WAY below 50psi

PS. check both door sills... if you dont find them there check the owners manual

i'm running Pirelli 215/35-19's with 50psi. That is max air pressure and it is what they recommended from the place i bought them.:D

50 PSI!!!!!!
Your ride must be increadibly rough... whoever recommended you to use 50psi doe NOT know what he/she is talking about... sheesh!
You will wear the center part of your tire MUCH faster, your contact patch is greatly reduced (affecting cornering, acceleration and braking)...
Trust me, 50psi is not the pressure you need to run

Heres the deal... i was running about 44psi & i want to my local tires shop (Les Schwab Tire Center- huge chain in the north west) to have my tires rotated. they freaked out and insisted that i run them at 50 psi. so i said ok. i thought this was a little high, so i contact the place i bought them (Options autosalon) and they told me the same thing(50psi = OK)... So i have kept running at that pressure. it doesn't seem to rough. It wouldn't suprise me if that is to much pressure... because, if it wears out my tires faster then they can sell me new tires sooner:mad: It is hard to tell if they know what they are talking about. Anyways, thanks MAX.
PS: i just looked at my tires... so far the tread looks to be wearing evenly...:D
