I have seen several references to the GT-S having a timing chain, instead of a timing belt. Does the same hold true for GT? Since the GT has a completely different engine, I wanted to confirm.
Also, does anyone know whether these engines have "positive valve clearance"? I am assuming "NO", since they have relatively high compression. My last car (Mazda) had positive clearance and it saved my a$$, when my belt broke. (I hade even had it changed routinely, but an oil leak apparently deteriorated the belt.)
