I have not posted in a while, but it is surely time becasue I am VERY excited right now.
I FINALLY installed a new clutch, a little while ago, and finished up the install of a Custom Eaton M90 Supercharger System on a the Mazda 2.5l DOHC powerplant on my Probe GT. (took me like a year)
What's new you ask?

I was running 14.4@98mph All motor before this install (w a stock slipping clutch) and all I can say is that after the clutch/SC install ITS A BEAST! g o d d a m n!
Here is what I added
Eaton M90 Roots Style Supercharger
Starion Front Mount Intercooler
Vortec 12:1 Fuel Modulation unit.
ACT Pressure Plate w/Clutmasters Stage III kevlar disk (MINIMAL pedal effort, extreme holding power)
CATCO 3" High Flow CAT (car sounds SO nice, its unbelievable)
HKS Racing Bypass Valve (man this thing rocks when it goes off)
I am running 8psi right now, it everything is idling/running smooth as butter. It runs really rich when it is cold outside before it warms up and bogs a bit, (is ****ing 20 degrees outside) but after the car is warmed up it runs flawlessly.
I have a Gtech pro, and did some (well actually a whole weekend full) of tests ( no tracks open here)
Before the Clutch/SC install, I was running average times on the Gtech of 14.3-14.4 and traps of 100-102mph on average.
I was running 14.4@98mph at the track.
My best time on the Gtech so far has been 12.8@110mph! and a slowest of 13.2@107mph!!!! :evil
Not to mention that I have some SERIOUS wheel Spin off the line because the ground is FROZEN.....I expect better times as the temps rise a bit around here...anything under 40-50 degrees outside and my car never actually warms up (no thermostat) which makes my car run to rich)
time to hit up the dyno, I have no doubt that I am pushing close to 300hp.
Lets just say that I recently raced a 99 Corvette and spanked him by 3 cars! Muhahhahahahahahaaahahhaahhahhahahahahha
Go 2003!
What up Raul,Dan, and Sean!
