I have not posted in a while, but it is surely time becasue I am VERY excited right now.

I FINALLY installed a new clutch, a little while ago, and finished up the install of a Custom Eaton M90 Supercharger System on a the Mazda 2.5l DOHC powerplant on my Probe GT. (took me like a year)

What's new you ask?

I was running 14.4@98mph All motor before this install (w a stock slipping clutch) and all I can say is that after the clutch/SC install ITS A BEAST! g o d d a m n!

Here is what I added

Eaton M90 Roots Style Supercharger
Starion Front Mount Intercooler
Vortec 12:1 Fuel Modulation unit.
ACT Pressure Plate w/Clutmasters Stage III kevlar disk (MINIMAL pedal effort, extreme holding power)
CATCO 3" High Flow CAT (car sounds SO nice, its unbelievable)
HKS Racing Bypass Valve (man this thing rocks when it goes off)

I am running 8psi right now, it everything is idling/running smooth as butter. It runs really rich when it is cold outside before it warms up and bogs a bit, (is ****ing 20 degrees outside) but after the car is warmed up it runs flawlessly.

I have a Gtech pro, and did some (well actually a whole weekend full) of tests ( no tracks open here)

Before the Clutch/SC install, I was running average times on the Gtech of 14.3-14.4 and traps of 100-102mph on average.
I was running 14.4@98mph at the track.

My best time on the Gtech so far has been 12.8@110mph! and a slowest of 13.2@107mph!!!! :evil

Not to mention that I have some SERIOUS wheel Spin off the line because the ground is FROZEN.....I expect better times as the temps rise a bit around here...anything under 40-50 degrees outside and my car never actually warms up (no thermostat) which makes my car run to rich)

time to hit up the dyno, I have no doubt that I am pushing close to 300hp.

Lets just say that I recently raced a 99 Corvette and spanked him by 3 cars! Muhahhahahahahahaaahahhaahhahhahahahahha

Go 2003!

What up Raul,Dan, and Sean!

Crap, not to mention a 12:1 FMU!!! Damn, that's insane. So, at 8 psi it is trying to push 96lbs of fuel pressure... Don't you think a 6:1 unit would've been enough? Can your fuel pump handle that?

That kicks ass though! I can't wait for my Celica to be boosted.

There is a mathematical equation for the FMU, it does not actually raise 12psi of fuel pressure for every lb of boost. I cannot find it right now but when I do I will surely post it.

I have a high pressure/high flow Walbro fuel pump installed in the fuel tank (replaced with the stock unit).

I had that pump when I was spraying on my other PGT, but even when I was spraying I hit FP of over 85psi and the engine never made a hiccup on the nitrous) I have not gone over 75psi yet, even at WOT with the SC, I guess the FMU and the Aftermarket FP regualtor are doing their job well.

Even with the 80hp shot of nitrous I had on my last PGT, it feels NOTHING like it does now (withe the SC)

yea for real, what IS going on with the 3sGTE.

I remember a time when a man named Raul once said

"The GTS will be for daily driving only, I wont even put an Intake on it" Yea, right! is what I said!

Good to hear Mike. Just when I catch up you have to go and finish this off. By the way I did the ECU/Knocksensor mod. I rev to 8350 now. :gap:

Yea, that is too bad. I would have though that a race between us all motor would have been sweet.

I really do miss all the excitement down there in Florida but it was a bit much for my irresponsible ass at the time. Trust me, would love to be down in the heat right now but I had to get my **** together.

That is awesome, cant wait to see you knock off some LOW LOW 14 second runs...Im sure it can be done. I mean when I left you were running 15's, and now your running 14.4's......the cars just keep getting faster. It's amazing how many GTS's you see in the 14's now....even 02's

Have you raced Raul with the new ECU? does it make a large difference or is it minimal??? What was the outcome?

From a stop the difference wasn't much because I don't have the same tires as before. So he gets me out of the hole and I pull the entire time. From a roll, its no contest. I just keep pulling. If I get him off the launch hes not catching me.

I guess it is down to driver and weight with Raul then....have you guys ever tried swapping cars and then running it? That would be interesting.

Hmmmm...the last time I tried to hit lift in a Celica GT-S I got arrested! LOL!

Naw we both agree that if I had the Toyo Proxe T-1s's that I'd pull the entire time from a stop. I was getting him out of the hole by a good car length when I had them. I'm also running full interior just like him.

let's be clear here... from a stop, on the street, it takes you up to 4th gear to catch up... and it's usually after the 1/4 mile.. not taking anything away from your car, but honestly, i think you'll have a hard time catching me in the 1/4...
from a roll, it's a different story though, i'll give you that much...

Unless I had proxes and then you won't catch me. Also I'm next to you by mid 4th which yes is after the 1/4mile. However the impressive part is that I reel you all the way in and pass from about car to a car and a half back.
