Will the OEM GTS oil filter fit a GT?

Will the GTS oil filter 90915-YZZA2 fit a Celica GT. The GT uses the 90915-YZZA1 oil fiter. The GTS oil filter I know is a little bit longer then the GT, but how about the base of the filter where it connects. Is it the same for both model Celica? Will the GTS oil filter fit the GT and vice versa? Thanks.

It'll fit. The A1 is just about 20 mm taller. It's got the same base, the same O-ring, and the same thread pattern to screw onto the oil filter union bolt.

I have no idea what this might do to your oil pressure/cleansing capabilities, but I don't think anything would happen....
