Why did you lock the thread after I asked the question regarding the commerce policy of this site? The bigger question is why send me to Larry for information, if you don't know why did you edit the guys post?

Oldster, I know you pride yourself on on the fact that you're educated so, I know you can read.

Which means, you read my post regarding the fact that I don't know all the specifics of Larry's pollicies on sponsorship.

If I did, I would have given him the direct links to the rental page (banner adds) and told him how to go about paying for a sponsorship spot. But alas, I don't know all the details of that engagement and therefore choose to allow Larry to handle all aspects of such ordeals.

As Larry owns the site, he get's paid for the sponsor adds... Static, along with myself do not. Therefore, Larry handles it all...

I told you & cruzer to ask Larry about it because I don't know all the details of it...

I closed & edited the thread due to the fact that since the creation of Newcelica.org it has been our pollicy that NO business owners may advertise or sell products on this site unless they become apart of the sponsorship program... I used to do that to business people at least once a week when I ran the Group Buy forum....

Any one person can sell an item in the For Sale forum if they choose to do so, unless they are selling products from their own business....

That is why I edited his post... not to keep you guys from getting great deals... but, because this site is ran a certain way, and it's my job to make sure it does.

Thank you for the explanation. It always piques my interest when I see something edited and have no idea why it was done. In the future it may be beneficial to edit out any links or contact information but leave the message more or less intact. Follow that with a brief explanation or the board's (Larry's) position. People would then understand why that particular post was in conflict with the rules of the board. JMHO
