i was on my way home from my friend's house. 3 ticks of gas left. and my exhaust was unbolted (i had left it like that all day because i had taken it off to show him but got too lazy to bolt it back :D)
it was dropped with an exhaust (on an A8? do people do this?) rumble which i could only hear when i let off the gas (unbolted rocks ;)). and tints. maybe lowered. but i dunno. looked low.
he was behind me at a light, then when he heard the loud exhaust or lack thereof and sped up and paced me until he got stuck behind a car. then he gets kinda crazy and cuts behind me, then tries to get around me at around 50mph (i'm in left lane).
i anticipated and floored it before he even started to get out from behind me cuz i won't pick up speed until a little over 60mph. he got around me next to me so my front wheels were at his door and then i hit lift.
a couple of seconds later i shifted at 82mph off the limiter and gave him a nice backfiring sound (his window was open 1/3rd way and he was a little off my rear bumper). and kept going. a split second after i had shifted i had gotten another half carlength. stopped pulling there though so after a few seconds where i felt the momentum swing and expected him to start coming back...he suddenly slams on the brakes and i let off and in my rearview i saw him swerve crazily to make his turn which he almost missed.
anyway, you shoulda seen this guy's head snap around so fast i thought it was gonna fall off when i hit lift next to him. he apparently thought i was already at redline because the damn exhaust is so loud. and it pulled hard...i watched the tach and it went from 6000 at around 65mph to 7800 at like 81mph in just barely over 3 seconds. plus his window was open.
i need to put the exhaust back on properly before i get pulled over :)
