New Paint Job, I want everyones opinion!

I have a Carbon Blue GT-S and im about to put the Black Widow II on with the flares molded in. I want to do a crazy color, what do you guys think would look good. I also have a aluminum wing so i would like something to look good with that. Also has anyone every have a MAaco paint job.

why on earth would you try some crazy ass color with your kit and think it will turn out the way you want at a MAACO? do you have any idea what you're doing? those places are fine for your average car that just had a fender bender but they're the last place to go for custom work. you need a shop that has experience doing that work, not just replacing and repainting the bumper on a city-driven econo box.

sorry, i'm a bit of a bad mood. don't **** this up. you sound like you want to try something kind of daring. don't half-ass it now by going to a maaco. check with people around you and get a rec on where to take your car.

btw, my color choice would be pearl. it's not white and nobody else has it. the orange reminds me of the dukes of hazard (sorry chiggy, celicapexi, others), lime green is fugly AND overdone, purple is too barney and there's not much left that doesn't look factory without going to some kind of chameleon look. i think a celica would look fantastic in pearl. and nobody's done it that i've seen.

I know a color that would really make your car stand out like you wouldn't believe. It's a GM color that they use on some of their prototype cars, but they have never used it on a prodution car(at least that I am aware of). The name of the color is GM Opera Red.

I've saw it on a few of General Moters' concept cars at the detroit auto show last year and it was a pretty amaizing color, I almost did my car in it, but in the end I decided to do the chameleon.

It is a really dark pearl red. The paint reflects so much red light that the people standing around the car had a red hue to them. I have honestly never seen such a dazzleing red paint in my life, and I would suggest that you look into it. Mayby you could order a small quantity of it and paint something for a sample so you can see what it looks like.

I say go with a dark grey. Like the Audi TT's. That color is intimidating:mad: , :).

Other than silver my next favorite is dark metallic silver.

i'd suggest the color mystic. It was used on the 96 mustang cobras. It will change colors like the chameleon paint but in much darker shades. looks bad in the sun at shows.
