i'm back home

i'm finally back home in nyc after nearly 2 years and it's fuc#ing cold. i get out of la guardia and that damn east coast wind chill. i mean it's cold at night in san diego like low 40's and it was high 30's in nyc, but it felt a lot colder than 39degrees.

finally saw kleeftonsi ride after the mods and that 30 degree weather is pulling that little bucket like it had a 50 shot. i wonder what my celica would feel like when it's this cold? makes me wish i had my car out here. if i lined up with kleeftonsi at frannie lew i would have left him in front of prep while i was at the light on union turnpike. that's how well my car would have responded to this weather.:D

TRD witnessed me spanking that NA 300ZX. A Celica would have been dead for sure. LOL

Anyways, called ATco and they're not open on saturday. I might go to Westhampton cuz i really want to run the car and tomorrow is going to rain.

Cliff buddy, if you're going to Westhampton, better hurry... they close at 6 :D It really wasn't too bright of them to open a drag strip in the Southampton town district, because they have some sort of retarded noise ordinance which makes it so that the track can never be open past 6pm. Pretty sad for a $45-for-T&T track :( If you end up going next weekend, let me know, I'd like to run the 240 a couple of times before school starts again :D

yeah I made it in time and did not regret it a bit. Ran a bunch of times, enough for my clutch to tell me to stop.

It's too bad there weren't any Celicas there. I was hoping some of them would show up.

the guys from our meet couldn't go, we were still gettin' people at 2-3 trickling in. and it closes at 4:30 and would've been about an hour or so drive. it really sucks tho about all the noise rules to keep 'em closed after dark plus i heard from their site they were gonna get shut down.
