Yay, finally got and installed my misterjung 6000k Hid's. Shipping and replies were fast, but i was just so damn impatient the whole weekend.
Got them and installed them. Wasn't really hard, and had lots of help from the previous posts on this board.

Color right now is a tad greenish bluish white. almost yellow, but then when u compare them to my fogs, theres no exception. Waiting for my burn in , then ill see what color they are.

I always thought my piaa fogs were pretty white, until i saw the reflection of my hid;s and fogs on someones rear bumper. damn they are near orange hahaha

Ok heres some pix anyway.

First pic I have to say they look more blue than in person.

2nd pic u can see the orangeness of the fogs ahha

On the last pic, do people with the kits notice that the top of their headlight assembly kinda glows too?

I like the top glowing. THat's the best part about having HIds :) But how are Mr. Jung's HID kits? Are they any good. I want to put a pair on a different car I have, but I really want to know about his kit quality, because if not, I'll just spend the extra 200 for a philips kit or something.

its good, i've had them for about 3 months now and i have no complaints.

I think I should consider misterjung's HID when it's time for me to buy....

yo yo , they are 379 shipped from www.misterjung.com

I found em from my friend elektrobeatz who got them last christmas.
I didn't know so many people had em.

Quality so far (8hrs) is great ahhaha, but i guess chiznarles or others can vouch for his kits.

I just had to take the car to some dark areas to check it out ...and damn ... they are just soooooo sweet.

Take a look at this pic and tell me you dont want them anymore.

How long was the install? Do you have any more pics of the lights shining on the road from inside the celica? Also, please let me know if they become more bluish white in the future because i wanted to get a pair of 6000k also. Thanks.

It says Plug-n-Play but do you need to use those wire crimping taps for connecting the wires. They ususally come loose or have intermittant connections after some vibration. I thought I saw those on the instrutions posted on mrjung's web page.

If it is ALL plugs and wire terminals that attach with screws I'm all over this :)

Here are the 7000 misterjung HID pics.

http://photos.shift21.com/HIDS/

My left foglight wires are screwed up so its not working, but I turned them on anyways so you can compare a bit. And it seems like my kit projects the light way farther out on the ground than others (there is a slant where I parked so that could be a problem too). Maybe I have to adjust the lamps. anyone know how to adjust them so they point down more?

What fuse has to be replaced?
I really want to get these damn things...whats the actually difference between the different temps? Is 7000K safe for the headlight housing?

Its basically the color. the lower the temp, the whiter they are. I actually wish i went with the 5k kit like chiznarles.....

the 7k gives off that purple-violet color that Bimmers and Audis and acuras give off right?

ALL factory equipped HID cars use 4100K rated bulbs. The color comes from the way the housings are designed. Projectors' colors are mainly from chromatic abberation at the cutoff. Otherwise you see white color. Except for reflection type, which use a shield to block out the yellow light from the bottom of the HID. So it appears bluer, but is still 4100K

Wow, redline, those are nice! How do you adjust the beam? Did you have to replace a fuse or hard-wire anything?

Are all of these kits DOT legal? Also has anyone ever tried to replace their H3 bulbs in the stock fog lights with a HID kit?

Do not be misled by 7000K HIDs. Look at the next BMW or Audi going the opposite way. You only notice this purple effect from a great distance, and like pokgai says, this comes from a prism effect at the cutoff point. The cutoff point happens to be right at your line of sight when you are sitting in a car. When you get close to the car, you will notice that the purple goes away and they lights appear white. I've noticed often on Audi that when the car is just about to go past you, there is a very yellow cutoff to the sides of the car.

7000K HID's emit PURPLE light. All the light coming from the lights is purple. It looks OK from a great distance, but it looks more like colored bulbs than A BMW/Audi, because on those cars you will se a color shift in the light at a distance from the car hitting bumps. The worst view of a 7000K HID light is from the side, where it is completely obvious that the lights are purple and not white. I think it looks a bit ricey IMO. I look at every set of HIDs i see when driving. I have noticed that they are all very white, with no blue. Aftermarket bulbs like PIAAs always look very blue, and don't really resemble any factory HID systems. I've noticed that all the blue/purple effects everyone tries to get only appears at the cutoff at the edge of the beam pattern. This is why I plan on sticking with 4100K OEM-type bulbs.

Anyone have any problems with the bulbs? I've just read the reviews on the bimmer forum and some said after about 3-4 weeks, the bulbs turn yellow and die out on them. And the bulbs are made in Korea.

Nope. if anything, I hate SUV's with HIDs!! They are pointed right into your rear view mirror...

I like the way my 7000k SPW kit looks and granted light output IS better than stock, but if I were to do it over again, I'd have gotten a whiter temperature bulb. I'm thinking about picking up MJ's 5000k bulbs and swapping them in. :)

don't get me wrong... output is great -- but I've gotten busted for them once and am just thinking about running a bulb that's a little whiter. :)
